Great app but wont be my main one simply because it does not Scrobble. Being able to favorite a certain song for Last.fm would be appreciated as well.

Its not flashy or fancy; it simply works and is what the native music app should be.

Wish the built-in Music app was as this clean and simple! The latest update (8.4) makes it too hard to listen to my own music. Picky is much better but I would like to have a Genre button at the button where I could see all my music subdivided by Artists.

If you want an app that will allow you to play all songs by one artist (as iTunes used to allow), rather than just from a certain album, this is the app for you.

Ever since the new Apple music app came out I have been looking for an alternative. This is it! The Apple app is buggy. It wont show songs part of a compilation under the artist name. It wont shuffle all songs by an artist. It wont play albums in order. All of this Picky will do and more! Picky is a combination of everything we loved about the Apple music apps of the past but no longer exist in their new version. If you are a music fan like me (with thousands of songs) and you are fed up with everything the new Apple app cant do, then picky is the app for you! Picky is well worth the money!

Been using this ever since the default iOS music app became unusable for playing and organizing albums properly. This app has solved all of those problems for me.

This is SO much better than the stock app that Apple screwed up with iOS 7 and made even worse with 8.4. Only three stars though since not being able to browse genres makes it not so user friendly.

One thing I like is using the artist feature to put my artists albums in chronological order. However, its recently stopped finding lyrics for most songs?

We all know we hate the native Music app (especially the new Apple Music one. Utterly horrible, cluttered UI and design. Someone needs to be fired). Picky is the absolute best alternative Ive seen. Streamlined, plenty of options (the dark theme being my favorite. I hate white, neutral, bland graphical design. Blegh. Stop being so modernist and spice it up a little), no frills, no unnecessary fluff, no clutter, just pure music. Also, you can display albums in PROPER chronological order. I cant even tell you how much that bothers me in the native Music app. So, it lives up to its name, really. Picky (yes, I am).

This app has completely replaced Apples Music app for me. I love the artist filter and album sort options. Dark mode is also a huge plus, as well as having the option to display or hide the artist pictures in the artist list.

This app adds Spotify style swipe to queue functionality to music stored locally. A must have for someone who someone who likes to schedule their songs a few ahead.

Picky continues to be a fantastic alternative to the built-in music player. Apples player feels like it is just playing catchup when it adds features like a play queue that have been in Picky forever. Appreciate the new album sorting options -- keep up the great work!

Its nice that someone cared enough to make this and keep updating it. Worth every penny!

Its really useful to be able to sort by both artist and album artist; the app looks nice, no problems. Would recommend.

Ever since ios7 I have died a little every time I use my phone to play music. I have lots of music and the way apple forces you to have huge rows and makes you scroll through all songs on all albums for a given artist is maddening. Picky fixes all this with a compact clean ui, bringing back the best of the ios6 app and improving with the filter view that hides the random cruft in your library for speedier access.

I used to love this app. Now any album I play after the first song it flips to shuffle all. Huge bug that needs to be fixed for a app that I paid for.

This app does exactly what the old official Music app did. Play your music. It allows perfect control over the sorting and playback of all your synced tracks. Im so thankful that software like this exists.

Reiterating its been buggy for the past few months. Wont play correct track. Have to revert to non-sorting stock Music app, at least until they get this sorted out.
