This app brings back the ease of use that we used to have. I cant add much to the other reviews except to say that this makes listening to YOUR locally-stored music a lot easier. No more Apple Store nonsense.

It felt like I heard a chorus of angels when I saw my beloved music library again. So happy to ditch the Apple Music app. One thing. Theres a glitch with the shuffle that originates in the Apple Music app. A quick look at pickys FAQs told me how to fix it and I was off to the races. My husband is doing the happy dance. And to Apple Music? Bye Felicia.

Takes me back to a time when Apple was known for their ease of use. Perfect App for when all I want to do is easily find, select, and play my music.

What a relief! Its so nice to be able to play my music without feeling like Im holding a swarm of gnats in my hand instead of a smart phone!

I was very unhappy with iOS 10 music player. Downloaded this an hour ago and it precisely fills my needs. The app loaded up the music on my phone and presents it by artist, album, and most importantly for me by iTunes playlist. No songs from the cloud! No cumbersome and confusing interfaces. No reference to Apple Music!

Just the way the default player should be :-) Could you do the same for the Remote app ? It would be amazing !

So far so good. Definitely better sorting than apples Music App. But no panoramic view for IPad? Maybe thats an option for one of the next updates? Keep the good work up! Cheers

Only thing missing is a slide to switch track function. Please add this, would be nice.

I bought Picky minutes ago. Went to songs. Filtered by one genre and pressed "shuffle all". So far so good. While playing the new song queue I turned the shuffle button to off. As soon as I paused the button went to on by itself. I turned it off again and pressed play. The button switched to on again. Extremely annoying... :-(

Nicer icon would be appreciated

Great update! The new icon looks fabulous. This app solve some major annoyances in the standard music app.

Love the look and feeling of it, much more than the stock music app. Only thing I cant find the settings.. Anyone else have this trouble?

Picky is as dependable as a man with a moustache

iOS 7 ruined Apples music app. This little darling gives us back the essential features that made the music app up to iOS6 so excellent and user friendly. Picky is now my "go to" music app! Thank you!

This is a fantastic app! Its clean, easy to use, allows for customization, and has a lot of the functionality that the standard music app lost in iOS 7 (for example, a list of separate albums under artist). The developer is also responsive to feedback. Highly recommended!

Shuffle by genre, filter out one hit wonders, and view your playlist in the "now playing" screen. Simple and elegant execution.

The app looks nice, but has crashed on me multiple times from selecting artists and back swiping from the player rarely works and instead get the zoom in effect of the album art instead. Will continue to use the default music player instead.

Finally, my music is organized again. What a relief! I create set lists from hundreds of songs and now I can find them quickly sorted by title. Every feature I wanted was there. It even was able to handle a double disc cd properly while the default ios7 app downloaded and played the 52 tracks in the wrong order. My only request would be an iPad version. Thanks for the app!

Terrific app. Does all the things a music player should. Basically let’s you use your iPhone like an iPod. Apple has really screwed up Music w iOS7, this is my only music player now. Especially for those who are album oriented (Classical, Jazz, Musicals, or just that way inclined). Close to perfect.
